I’ve always loved the simple, yet complex form of the ammonite. They are found in abundance, and to me, represent the beautiful, mathematical/geometric sculpture of the natural world.

I have printed this image in a number of formats and papers - over monoprints, on antiqued cotton rag paper and this special one which is printed on some paper that I made myself from scrap paper and discarded lino prints that went wrong! I try not to create waste and was pleased that I could create something beautiful out of it instead :)
