Wildflower Meadow - Luminous Brights small works collection

A pocket sized field of wild blooms - painted in gouache and accented with flashes of metallics and neons so that it shifts with the light. Part of my Luminous Brights small works collection, these pieces are made to feel immediate and alive - art you can live with, not just look at. They have that bright-meets-luminous energy that reminds us that small doesn’t mean quiet.

Painted on a 5×7” sheet of hot pressed 100% cotton watercolour paper in gouache and then highlighted with florescent and metallic poscas and outlined with my trusty black Tombow pen.

It’s a loose, reimagined field… a mix of daisies, cornflowers and red cosmos paired with neon confetti dots that don’t follow the rules. I painted it the way that wildflowers grow - fast, imperfect, but full of life.

Unframed (framed image for mock up only). Purchased works will be sent carefully wrapped and in a hard-backed envelope for safety on their journey to you.

Shimmering Fly Agaric Cottagecore Fairy Core original framed painting. Iridescent acrylic fungi mushroom 8 inch square

Cottagecore or fairycore original art piece perfect for boho decor or a nature lover who appreciates the beauty of mushrooms and fungi.

The subject is a gorgeous specimen of Fly Agaric fungi in grass, with the painting creeping over the frame to make the whole piece one artwork. It's painted in acrylics on an 8" square of hardwood ply, with a striking black background. The magic is emphasised by the use of shimmery interference paints which scatter the light so as you move around it you see irridescence. Signed with my 'chop' - KH 25.

Both the board and the frame are varnished with a matte acrylic varnish to protect them. This has been done imperfectly - the varnish spotted on the frame a bit, but it adds to the cottagecore look.
