Art through recycling!
The printing plate for this gorgeous lotus plant with its iconic seedheads was made from a juice carton. With tetrapak printing you inscribe the plate and remove the surface to create the lines and darker areas - roll on your ink and then wipe anything you want to be white off. I tore the edges of the plate to add visual interest.
Printed in a deep prussian blue oil based ink on soft cotton rag paper with deckle edge.
Signed with my dated ‘chop’.
7×5” approx (fits into a standard 7×5 inch frame).
Unframed, will be sent in a cellophane bag in a hard backed envelope for safe mailing.
